Everyone has dreams or goals, but the reason most never see those dreams or goals come to fruition is failure to writing goals down. Anyone can think of all the things they would like to have or do, but without writing goals down and committing those goals to paper you will never see positive results. It comes from writing goals down. You have to be writing goals down not just be wishing something would happen. Wishing is more than thinking about what you want most of the time. It is one thing to say we are going to earn a million dollars and still another thing to know how we are going to get that million dollars. The real secret to obtaining a million dollars or whatever else it is you want in life is writing goals down and coming up with a time-line of smart goals for achieving your hopes and dreams. Writing Goals Down Is Smart Goals

There are five things you need to remember about writing goals that make for smart goals. I want to give you these smart goals in the form of an acoustic that I feel will make it easier for you to remember about writing goals down and committing those smart goals to memory. Note: A big part of smart goals and writing goals down is thinking about your goals most of the time (99.99% of the time).

Specific Goals – To have smart goals it is important to be specific about the goals you want to have in your life, the things you are writing down. For this reason writing goals down is crucial if you are going to have specific goals, such as money, time-freedom and love in your life. Just writing goals, such as a million dollars, to be free to come and go as you please or make love to a beautiful woman/man are they in your sweet spot? When it comes to writing goals you need to write specifically that you will have and do something over the next 5-10 years or more to have a million dollars in the bank without setting any time limits on their accomplishment. If the goals you are writing down are not in your sweet spot they are not smart goals.

Measurable Goals – Your smart goals have to be measurable on the scale of writing goals down and committing them to memory. Anytime you memorize something it becomes a part of you. How bad do you really want a million dollars? If you are really serious about having a million dollars, time-freedom or the love of a beautiful woman/man not only writing goals down, but making them a part of your life (soul) will be all you can think about most of the time. You have to eat, sleep and dream that you want so badly.Writing goals down are smart goals when you are thinking about them 99.99% of the time.

Get out that measuring stick and see how many inches round you are now and then lose the amount of inches you need to be as trim and fit as you feel you need to be. Writing goals in inches not in miles is important as to the level of success you will have accomplishing them. Walk one mile in my shoes inch by inch along the way means writing goals that are incremental in scope, but smart goals are goals in your sweet spot. The sweet spot is those smart goals that you are thinking about most of the time and they have been written down first.

Achievable Goals – Your smart goals have to be achievable and this is why writing goals down and committing goals to memory is so important to having them. No one has ever achieved anything of real greatness by chasing more than one rabbit at a time. It is hard enough trying to catch one rabbit without going after a whole slew of them all at once. Writing goals down helps you to keep your focus on the task at hand – Catching the rabbit!

Anyone who says, they need and are going to lose 200lbs. without no thought as to how they are going to do it or no plan of writing goals down including their goal weight down will be speaking into the wind. You must clearly define your goals and have writing goals down as a way of life. Writing goals down and memorizing them is a good habit you must accumulate, along with thinking about what you want most of the time. Just because your goals are memorized does not mean you are thinking about what you want most of the time. Writing goals down you think about most of the time is key to having what it is you want!

Realistic Goals – If there was ever a time to be real when it comes to smart goals it would be in forming a good habit of writing goals, memorizing, and thinking about what you want 99.99% of the time to accomplish in your life. Writing goals down means writing those goals in such away as to be realistic with yourself as to what you really want in your life. There has never been a time to be more real with yourself than when it comes to writing goals down you truly are thinking about most of the time.     

Timely Goals – Writing goals is a matter of timing and being timely in pursuit of the goals you think about most of the time. No one will ever have what they truly think about most of the time without taking the time to writing goals down and committing them to memory. Not only is it important to take the time to writing goals, but it is very important to schedule a time for writing goals and memorizing them. And this task must be done in a timely manner – Do It Now!

There you have it the five smart goals that you need to have to effectively writing goals you think about most of the time in your life. They are in short specific goals, measurable goals, achievable goals, realistic goals, timely goals and you are thinking about them most of the time (99.99% of the time). You will never have all the things you desire more than life till you start writing goals down and committing them to memory.
